"By the third show I was bopping around with a fiendish grin on my face --- it was that much fun." - Phil, in his book

This is talking about none other then the 1983 Red Rocks shows. The first and the last are worthy of listen. Tons of Phil bombs, and Brent sounds really good (something i never admit).

The highlights of this show are the peggy-o, the duprees, bird song, and the amazing H>S>F. The whole show is worthy of listen however.

This is a good sounding AUD. The last show of the run. Listen to the Ramble on Rose, the jam section has Jerry wailing away, and PHil throws in some loud lines. S>F>estimated>terrapin is amazing. A good throwing stones. A good shakedown opener.

Both of these shows are worthy of your attention, especially for 80's haters like me.

Thanks GaK. I have the 6th in the collection, nice one. Looks like it's time to find the 8th.

I had thought that JGB did best Sugaree - I now think I have to revise my opinion.
